We use gravity, negative-pressure and counter-pressure filling machines for alcoholic drinks. Beer is carbonated, so it needs a counter-pressure filler. Non-carbonated alcohol such as vodka and whisky is filled by a micro negative-pressure filler.
Why micro negative pressure for spirits. It has no drips, unlike a gravity filler, and the small vacuum helps keep the flavor of the drink. The tank is under negative pressure; when the bottle is sealed against the filling valve it reaches the same negative pressure, the alcohol flows in, and filling stops when the level reaches the vent.
Cans and bottles. The filling principle is the same for cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles — only some parts change for each container.

Two typical layouts. Your line may add or skip stations, depending on your drink, container and output.
Eight machines take empty cans from the pallet to packed cases.
Glass-bottle lines follow the same rinse-fill-cap logic, with the filling principle chosen for the drink.
Every machine is built in our own workshop. You choose the stations you need — we quote a complete equipment list for your project.
Takes empty cans off the pallet onto the line.
Rinses every empty can before it enters the filler.
Fills beer under counter-pressure and seals the can right after filling.
X-ray detection removes any can whose fill level is below standard.
Spray tunnel or UHT unit, depending on your process.
Dries cans coming out of the spray tunnel before coding.
Counter-pressure for beer or micro negative-pressure for spirits; with two capping sets when you change cap types.
Self-adhesive or glue labels (paper) for glass bottles.
Ink-jet or laser coding; fiber laser for metal cans.
Film, carton or half-tray packing; a grab-type cartoner for glass.
Automatic stacking of finished cases onto pallets.

The drink decides the filler; the container decides the parts and everything after it.
| Beer | Vodka, whisky & other still spirits | |
|---|---|---|
| Filling principle | BeerCounter-pressure filling, because beer is carbonated and generates CO₂ in fermentation. | Vodka, whisky & other still spiritsMicro negative-pressure filling (or gravity filling). |
| Typical containers | BeerGlass bottles and aluminum cans. | Vodka, whisky & other still spiritsGlass bottles; aluminum cans are used for low-alcohol and flavored drinks. |
| Caps | BeerCrown, aluminum or pull-ring caps for glass bottles; lids for cans. | Vodka, whisky & other still spiritsAluminum, crown, twist-off and pull-over caps — aluminum is the popular cap for whisky. Wood cork is still popular for red wine, though aluminum caps are becoming common. |
| Sterilization | BeerUHT before filling (needs a sterile filling environment) or a spray tunnel after filling (sterilizes in the can, uses more time and energy). | Vodka, whisky & other still spirits— |

Matching Machines
Canned beer runs on the Can series. Glass-bottle beer and spirits lines are configured to your project — tell us the drink, bottle and output and we propose the machines.
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask most before ordering. More in our general FAQ.
Tell us your product, container and target output. Our engineers reply within 1 working day with a preliminary line proposal and equipment list.
What to send us
Your product
Beverage type and recipe. For water lines, your raw water source too.
Target output
Bottles or cans per hour, and how many shifts you plan to run.
Container samples
At least one bottle, cap and label (or can and lid). We build the machine to the samples.
Workshop & utilities
Workshop size, plus your voltage, frequency and number of phases, water and compressed air.
