Frequently Asked Questions

Quotation, payment, delivery, installation, spare parts and support.
The questions overseas buyers ask us most, answered straight from our factory.

Ordering & Quotation

How do I get a quotation?
Send us your beverage type, container type and size, target output per hour and your contact details — through the inquiry form, WhatsApp or email. We reply within 1 working day with a preliminary proposal. After a few rounds of communication we confirm the layout drawing, bottle drawing, label type and packaging method, and issue the final quotation.
What decides the price of a filling line?
The price depends on the production speed, the level of automation, the bottle material, cap material and bottle volume, the labeling method, the packing method and other factors. Send us these details and we will prepare a detailed proposal for your project.
How does payment work?
After both sides confirm the final quotation, we issue a proforma invoice that both parties sign and seal — this is the contract. You pay a 30% deposit and we start production. The 70% balance is paid after the machines pass your inspection, before shipment.
Can one machine fill bottles of different sizes?
Bottles with the same neck size and a diameter difference of no more than 5 mm can share one filling machine. If the diameter difference is larger, we supply bottle change parts (star wheels and bottle fixing parts) made to your bottle sizes. Different neck sizes also need change parts for everything that touches the bottleneck, such as the neck holder, clamp, capping head and seat.
Can a water filling machine also fill juice or soda?
No. Different drinks are filled on different principles — still water is filled by gravity at atmospheric pressure, while carbonated drinks need counter-pressure filling — so each drink type needs its own machine design. Tell us what you will produce and we will recommend the right line.
Can plastic, glass and aluminum containers run on the same machine?
No. Plastic bottles are held by the neck while glass bottles are supported from the bottom, and each cap type (plastic, crown, aluminum, twist-off) needs its own capping mechanism. Please tell us the container material, size and cap type when you inquire.

Machines & Technical

What output can your lines reach?
Our water filling lines run from 2,000 to 36,000 bottles per hour (250 ml–2 L), our can filling lines up to 20,000 cans per hour, and our 5-gallon lines from 100 to 3,000 bottles per hour. The exact speed depends on the model and configuration — see the machine series pages for details.
How does the filler keep the liquid level constant?
The length of the vent tube sets the liquid level: when the level in the bottle reaches the vent, the air path is cut off and filling stops. With the same vent length, bottle shape and size, every bottle is filled to the same height, and we adjust the level simply by changing the vent length.
How do you avoid foaming when filling carbonated drinks?
Foaming is mainly caused by filling-valve quality, a high syrup ratio and a warm drink. The liquid flows down the bottle wall through a diverter umbrella, and at the end of filling the CO₂ in the bottleneck is released slowly to relieve the pressure. Carbonated drinks should be filled at 3–5 °C, because low temperature improves the solubility of CO₂.
Can a 5-gallon line handle recycled barrels of different sizes?
Yes. Our constant-liquid-level filling works with barrels of different sizes and heights on one line and keeps the fill level consistent. Pre-treatment equipment — label remover, cap remover, leak detector, external brushing and internal washing — is selected according to the condition of your barrels.
How do you prevent overflow and leaking barrels?
The filling valve uses closed-loop control with a flowmeter and proportional valve, so there is no water hammer or overflow; a frequency converter fills 60–80% of the barrel quickly and the remainder slowly. An online leak detector checks every barrel before filling.
Which materials and components do you use?
All parts in contact with the liquid are SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel. Key electrical parts such as PLCs, touch screens and inverters come from well-known brands like Siemens, Mitsubishi and Schneider.

Installation & Workshop

How large a workshop do I need?
A whole production line usually needs 500–1,000 square meters — bigger is better. After the equipment is confirmed, Linho designs your factory layout for free.
How long does installation take?
Installing a whole line takes about 30 working days once water, power, gas, raw materials and tools are ready in your factory. Commissioning typically takes from one week to two months depending on the machines, and our technician continues to assist your production for one more week.
What should I prepare before the machines arrive?
Prepare the workshop according to our layout drawing and have water, electricity and compressed air ready. Please also tell us your factory's voltage, frequency and number of phases so we can build the machine to match, and send samples of your bottles, caps and labels so the change parts fit exactly.
Who covers the installation technicians?
You provide visa support, transport, food and accommodation for our technicians and pay a daily technician fee that depends on the machines purchased. Ask us for the details in your quotation.

Shipping & Logistics

How long does delivery take?
Depending on the size of the line, machines are finished in about 30–90 days after we receive the deposit and your confirmed bottle samples. Sea freight to your destination port then takes about 30–50 days.
Who arranges shipping and customs clearance?
After the balance arrives, we contact a freight forwarder to arrange the shipment — or work with your own forwarder. You pay freight and insurance, either directly to the forwarder or to us. We prepare and mail the documents your customs clearance company needs, and you arrange domestic transport from the port to your factory.
Can I inspect the machines before they ship?
Yes. After 2–3 days of continuous testing in our workshop we invite you to inspect. If you cannot travel, we offer a video inspection. Please check completeness against the contract list, materials and configuration, smooth running and output speed, and compatibility with your sample bottles.

Spare Parts

Do you supply spare parts?
Yes. At delivery we provide some free spare parts according to the equipment you ordered; if you need more, we sell them at cost price. Because our electrical components come from international brands, common parts can also be bought locally.
How do I maintain the machine?
The equipment manual explains the weekly, monthly, semi-annual and yearly maintenance routines. If you have any questions, our team is one message away.

Technical Support & Training

What support do I get after the machine is running?
Our commissioning technician helps you start production and stays for a further week. After that Linho continues to provide technical service and spare parts — for us, the cooperation has only just begun.
Do you train our operators?
Yes. Staff training is part of our service — our technicians train your operators on site while commissioning the line.
How can I reach technical support?
Chat with us on WhatsApp (+86 133 7219 2902) or write to info@linhomachine.com. Our contact page lists every way to reach us.
