Principle & Structure

How an Edible Oil Filling Line Works

A piston filling machine is usually used for oil and other liquids with higher viscosity, such as salad dressings and sauces. With glass bottles, the cap can be a crown cap, a screw ROPP cap, a pull-ring cap or a twist-off cap.

Filling sequence. Empty bottles are staged on the main conveyor before they enter the piston filler. Optical sensors count them in, so the right number of bottles is in position, and a pneumatic clamping mechanism locks each bottle under its filling head.

Construction. Heavy-duty stainless steel frame and reservoir, an automatic product level sensing float system, easily adjustable nozzle height and user-friendly PLC controls.

Process Flow

From Empty Bottle to Packed Case

Each station is synchronized by a central PLC. Your line may add or skip stations, depending on your drink, container and output.

  1. 1

    Bottle infeed

Empty bottles are staged on the main drive conveyor before entering the filler.

  2. 2

    Counting & positioning

Optical sensors count the bottles in, and a pneumatic clamp locks them under the filling heads.

  3. 3

    Piston filling

Each piston doses the set volume, from 50 ml up to 5 L depending on the machine.

  4. 4

    Capping

Screw, ROPP, crown, pull-ring or twist-off caps, depending on the bottle.

  5. 5

    Labeling & coding

Labels and date codes are applied to the filled bottles.

  6. 6

    Packing

Bottles are packed into cartons or film packs for shipping.

Equipment List

Equipment in an Edible Oil Line

Every machine is built in our own workshop. You choose the stations you need — we quote a complete equipment list for your project.

Linear piston filler for oil and other viscous liquids, 200–2,000 bottles per hour.

Matched to your cap: screw, ROPP, crown, pull-ring or twist-off.

Self-adhesive, OPP or sleeve labels for plastic and glass.

Date printer

Optional

Ink-jet or laser coding.

Shrink-film packer or carton packer.

Automatic stacking of finished cases onto pallets.

What to send us

1

Your product

Beverage type and recipe. For water lines, your raw water source too.

2

Target output

Bottles or cans per hour, and how many shifts you plan to run.

3

Container samples

At least one bottle, cap and label (or can and lid). We build the machine to the samples.

4

Workshop & utilities

Workshop size, plus your voltage, frequency and number of phases, water and compressed air.
